Over the past 3 or 4 months Troy has suffered a broken ankle that he sustained while hopping of a curb. A serious injury for such a trivial move. Since December Troy has been making the most of his love of film and this has enabled him to get behind a lens and look out gaining a better understanding of how surfing is felt from within. Now back in the saddle and armed with a custom heavy weight nose rider, courtesy of Mason Dyer in San Diego, Troy is making use of the weight, the passion and the point breaks in his new local of Summerland which is based only minutes from the ‘Bates’ exit on the 101.
